B2: First Speaking Task 1st Bi :2020

Anatomy of a scene

Speaking Task - 1st Bi

Deadline: 06/03/2020

Dear Padawans,

  • Here you'll find the slides with the questions for shooting a scene, which is your Speaking Task for the 1st bimester.
  • Please, remember that you will need to form groups ranging from 2 to 5 people.
  • Members must take part in the scene as actors and/or take part in the comments phase (or both).
  • The first phase is the scene itself. It shouldn't be longer than 7 minutes. Remember: quality over quantity! Make sure the sound is clear. Test it!!!
  • The second phase is the director's comments. It should not take longer than 5 minutes. Again, remember to explain your choices, even if there were things that didn't go exactly according to plan.
  • Finally, remember to save it and bring it to class on the deadline, but remember you can give it earlier (better safe than sorry). Anything handed in after this date will not be accepted. Once handed in, you won't be able to hand in a newer version. So, plan ahead, get organized. Also, make sure you test your file before the deadline, otherwise it might compromise your grades. Remember to include all member's names.
  • Should you need any help, please feel free to ask me any questions.
